Eligibility:

      Passed S.S.C. or Equivalent Examination with subjects English, Mathematics and Science


For Direct Admission to Second Year Diploma:

1.Passed HSC Science / Technical / Vocational (MCVC) / ITI (2 years) or equivalent
2. The candidate passed HSC / ITI should have passed SSC or equivalent exam with subjects English, Mathematics and Science
3. The candidate passed ITI (COE) should have passed SSC or equivalent exam with subjects English, Mathematics and Science AND ITI (COE) with three modules (Sector Module, Advanced Module and Specialized module) of 2 years duration.

Age Limit:

      There is no age limit for admission.

Admission Procedure:

      Admission procedure will be conducted according to the DTE process i.e. CAP (Centralized Admission Process) round I, II & III. 80% seats will be filled according to DTE process and remaining 20% seats will be filled at institute level on merit basis.
       Eligible candidates should apply in the prescribed Application Form only to the Principal, Sanjivani Pratisthan Institute Of Technology (S. P. I. T.) Polytechnic, Kurund, Tal- Parner, Dist- Ahmednagar for Institute level admission (20 % seats) and for admission through Centralized Admission Process (CAP- 80 % seats), as per the rules / notification for admission to First Year Of Post SSC Diploma Course in Engineering /Technology, Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. Documents Required:

1. Certificate of Passing of the Qualifying Examination i.e. S.S.C or its equivalent examination with true copy of the Statement of Marks.
2. HSC Science / Technical / MCVC/ ITI Marksheet (If applicable).
3. School / Institute Leaving Certificate (after Qualifying Examination) OR N Proforma.
4. Certificate of Date of Birth (if the Date of Birth is not mentioned in the schools Leaving Certificate).
5. Certificate of Nationality / leaving certificate showing Indian Nationality & Domicile Certificate.
6. Mark sheets of Std. 8th & 9th OR Z Proforma.
7. Caste Certificate from Executive Magistrate / Tahsildar for Backward class candidates.
8. Income certificate if income is up to Rs.1 lacks for E.B.C. (Open) freeship OR up to Rs. 4.50 lacks for Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) issued by the Magistrate / Tahsildar or equivalent authority.
9. Non Creamy Layer Certificate valid for the current year, issued by the Magistrate / Tahsildar or equivalent authority for OBC, SBC, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, VJ/DT Candidates.
10. Gap Certificate (if applicable).
11. CAP Allotment Letter (Only for CAP Round Admission).
12. Five Passport size Photographs & Two set of attested Xerox copies of all documents.
13. Candidate claiming seat reserved for Physically Handicapped, should produce certificate from Civil Surgeon regarding his / her physical disability.

Reservation of Seats:

      The distribution of seats amongst backward class candidates as per current Govt.

Seats for TFWS (Tuition Fees Waiver Scheme) Candidates:

      5% seats of sanctioned intake per course shall be available for these admissions. Sons & daughter having annual income up to 4.5 lacks from all sources shall be eligible for seats under this scheme. All other fees except tuition fees will have to be paid by beneficiary.5% seats of sanctioned intake per course shall be available for these admissions. Seats for OMS Candidates:

      The seats remaining vacant, if any, after offering admissions to all Maharashtra Candidates on the merit list will be offered to eligible candidates from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates as per rules & regulations of DTE, Mumbai.

Seats for Direct Second Year Admission:

      20 % seats of the sanctioned intake & vacant seats (if any) are available for direct admission to Second Year Post SSC full time Diploma in engineering courses.

Cancellation of Admission & Refund of Fees:

      Cancellation of admission & fees will be refunded as per the admission rules / regulation of DTE, Mumbai.

Affiliation & Examination:

      The institute is affiliated to MSBTE, Mumbai for the purpose of course study, syllabus and conduct of examination and award of diploma.

Grant of Terms:

      The candidate will be granted a term provided he / she has satisfactory completed the prescribed course of study and has kept 80% attendance for theory and practical separately for each subject.

Standard of Passing:

      To pass the diploma course in Engineering / Technology the candidate must obtain minimum 40% marks separately in theory and practical.

Transfer of Student:

      A candidate once admitted in the first year or semester of a course shall not be transferred during the same year or semester to any other institution or course for any reason.

Change of Course:

      A Candidate is eligible for change of course in second year provided that his / her result is at least Pass in first year & seat is vacant in other course. As per MSBTE rules, such candidate has to give backlog subjects of first year of changed course.

      Management reserves the right to modify, alter, revise or amend the rules & regulations without prior intimation and will be binding on the student.
